The MWR Annual Christmas Drawing

Amount raised through November 25, 2001 = $2,403.89

This has truly been a terrible time for all.  The magnitude of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, is overwhelming.  It has also been a time for an unprecedented outpouring of support from people throughout the world.  This drawing will be a chance for members of the Military Watch Resource to contribute and be a part of the relief effort.  This year, all of the proceeds from this drawing will go to the New York Firefighters Disaster Relief Fund.  I hope everyone enters to help the great cause.

A-10 "Warthog" model

A-10 is bombed up and ready to go.  The model is handcrafted in the Philippines of hard mahogany wood.  All markings are hand painted and several coats of lacquer are applied to secure the beautiful finish.  The model is not small.  With a fuselage length of 18" and a wing span of 16 1/2" the "Warthog" is sure to be a beautiful show piece in your home or office.  The A-10 is donated by DanChris & Sons, an aviation collectibles company.  They specialize in one of a kind models of your special aircraft, commercial airliners and military aircraft as well.  DanChris & Sons can be reached by their e-mail address at: stmikel@earthlink.net, or at their mailing address at;
